240sx Or no?

I currently have a 95 honda civic . Im thinking about getting rid of it and getting a different car , numerous cars have run through my mind . Dodge stealth , 3000gt , nissan 300zx ....All pretty damn hard to find in massachusetts . And now im thinkin 240sx . Is this a do or a dont , im lookin at maybe a 1992 or so , i can only spend 5grand .

well the 240 is most definatley the lightest car out of the other 3 you were thinking of. The 240 is a great car and I'm sure you can probably find a good deal on an S13 (89-94) for under 5 grand. Any more questions you have.... post them up

If you only got 5k...you are not going to get any good Stealth or 3kgt's...since the only one worth while is the R/T or VR4 (respectively)...and as for 5k on a 300ZX...you are going to be able to get a TT but you could get a Z31 Turbo...they are nice

Now...you can spend 5k on a S13 or S14...I think it might be better and up your alley since it will save you gas and put you in a better insurance bracket then a 300ZX

Well , thing is what is this everyone speaks of with the stealths /3kgts , that the base models arent even worth it . Many preach this to me , which makes no sence , they are runnin 222HP on a 3500lb body , thats not too bad . Also , yea a 240sx could be nice i just searched and i found one for 4k grand about 20 miles away from me . But it lacks mileage in the information , ill give him a call during the week . Im pretty much lookin for the following in a car , leather , solid frame for my system ,power locks and windows , good handling and exceptional acceleration , which is why im lookin stealth or 3kgt and....240sx? there just so damn hard to find .

go to www.autotrader.com and find yourself a cheap 240. Use the extra money to swap in an sr20det.

3kgt's/Stealth's are 3800 lbs...big difference...and...they are FWD!

nah , the fact that i just want something new , the civic isnt as fast as id like it to be , and im kinda gettin bored with it . Also im not really up for sinkin a few grand into mods to make it a decently fast car , id rather just get something new.

Wait...so you want a fast car but dont want to spend $$$?



You gotta pay to play man...whether it be to spend alot of money to get a fast car and not modify it or to get a slow car and modify it to make it fast...either way you got spend the money

There are very lil fast cars for under 5k out of the box...and the ones that are wont last long that's for sure...

I think you need to re-check your thinking and realize that $ = speed

oh no kiddin but, i think im just gonna end up going 3000gt basemodel . or stealth . The racing scene is nothing around here , so im not gonna go too crazy .

There is a very popular AUS magazine called Autospeed. They tested RPS13 against LIMBO Diablo and Lotus Esprit and RPS13 out handled both of those super cars.
So if you are looking for a cheap super car get a 240.

The base model has even less HP than the SL does...168HP...man you will be beat out by Civic Si's if you ever see one...
