Exclamation 240SX no oil circulation/ pressure

I got a 1992 nissan 240sx with the 2.4 SOHC engine.. had to go behind a slack mechanic a re-do his timing job.. when reassembled the car has no oil pressure (warning light on).

Ok so i take off oil pump. fill it with oil. and try again.. still nothing.
Next fill the pump with Vaseline.. still no oil..
Ok so i make sure the oil pump/dist shaft is lined up properly. un plug the coil an spin the motor over a bit.. nothing once more..

o an i tried a brand new oil pump with the same results..

used a air compressor to blow out oil passages..all clear.
pickup tube is not stopped up(removed oil pan and checked)

Can anybody help me out here? ive tried everything i can think of.. Maybe some way of priming the oil pump would help.. thank you--braxton
