hello, i have a 1995 chevy s10 4x4 with a 4.3 engine with manual tranny. i noticed when i accelerate i can feel the truck jumping , forward possibly. jumping or rocking north to south. please help me here im stumped.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. That or you need a tune up.
Got any service details for us to work from? I have a 92 full size that does that but it depends on how you drive it. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it does not do it. Welcome to AF and I hope you stick around. John |

it could also be an exhaust leak have it checked out

You might also be describing "wheel hop" - this would make your rear tires skip off the road while excessive acceleration is in the works. S-10 all have this problem unless lowered. A good solution if this is the case would be traction bars for $139.99 online.

does the truck jump while u accelerate or when you are taking off?
if you are taking off fast and the wheels are spinning than it could be wheel hop. however if it does it while acceleration i would start with a tune up and checking the clutch. |
