Tamiya Polyester Putty

just wanted to know if this one is good for remodelling?there are severl different tamiya puttys,thats the only one they have at local model store at the moment,so i have to know if ic an buy it and have fun

remodeling? If you mean modifying like making aero parts, yes.
Even if you sand putty with fine grid paper, surface is not as smooth as plastic. Just apply primer with a brush, and build a layer of primer, then smooth it.
That way, the modified part won't be noticeable after painted.

Just keep these in mind. This thing smell very harmful to your health, so remember do it where is open place or enough fresh to run in. The mixing are pretty tricky.

Indeed. Polyester resin fumes are highly toxic, wear a respirator! Prolonged exposure to fumes can cause liver and kidney damage. In college we did a lot of fiberglass work and the school was too cheap to use epoxy resins so we used nothing but polyester. They could not stress enough the dangers of it!

Err I didn't think the polyester resin fumes were that bad... maybe I won't be able to work on that in my dorm room now

i wanna fill the side air intakes on my s2000 front skirt and make the middle intake bigger

any advice?
