Has anyone come across this problem and if so how did you fix it.
I have just had the air con fixed and now it is leaking water into the car rather than running out the drain to the outside. Repair agents have said that all of this model have that problem and have suggested making a hole in the car so I can push a piece of wire down the drain to keep it clear. This problem has only come up since we had the air con recharged. Note: The air con was working when I purchased the car, with no problems. Then it stopped working (lost all it's gas) for about a year, I have only just had it repaired and recharged. If anyone has had a similar experience and could share some light on the situation I would really appreciate it |

Make sure the drain tubes are connected to the evaporator case, if you look at the trans tunnel from under the vehicle the drains are located about level with the centre of the auto sump, (your car being a calais will have the auto trans)
being a 94 model i am not sure if your car is vr or vs so it may have 1 or 2 drains Once you know where the drains are look inside your car and locate the rubber drain hoses behind the centre console and make sure they are still connected to the case If they are connected get a length of welding wire or a coat hanger, straighten it out and push it about 3-4 inches into the drain holes, if the car has been sitting for awhile they could be blocked with leaves
