Rain Water Leaking Into Car
I recently purchased a used 2001 Chevy Imala at 45k miles and I noticed the past couple of days water dripping from under the passenger side console, near the spot light. It's been raining like heck in San Diego the past few days, and what I could figure out is water has been getting through from in-between the windshield and hood, traveling down behind the dash/console, and dripping out onto the passenger floor mat (I found puddles sitting on the rubber sections and watter saturated into the carpet areas). I took it to the dealership and they found a 3/4" opening near the bottom of the windshield, appearing that the sealer wore out. They are fixing it as I'm typing this. Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Re: Rain Water Leaking Into Car
I have, but mine was leaking through the blower motor. Look up in your owners manual on how to replace the, hmm..crap i don't even know what it's call. There is one on the passenger side under the black trip at the bottom of the windshield on the outside of the car. Thats where i had a leak.

Re: Rain Water Leaking Into Car
It is called the cabin air filter. The seal that snaps onto the bottom of the windshield comes loose. I just glued my seal with some clear silicone and snaped it back in place. Not even these hurricanes made it leak again.
