Has Anyone here removed their side moldings on the pickups? I am wondering if it'll need painting if I pull it off? My truck is a 2000 model. While i,m asking how about some fog lamps to fit my truck in the stock locations. mine didnt come with them.

You can have them removed professionally(reccomended) they buff the leftover glue off with a high speed buffer, they call it a ,molding glue eraser or something like that. Our body shop has to remove and reuse old moldings all the time.
You can by a factory gm accessory fog lamp kit from gm for about 100.00 it comes with everything you need to install it. One note though you will have to take it to the dealer to have the bcm updated though. Go with the gm kit it has the factory look and factory dash switch. Good luck and Welcome to AF

I agree with John. Done a bunch of these at work. The GM kit is clean and neat but I suggest buying the lower valance also that was made for fog lights, trying to cut the hole never comes out the way I'd like it to.
