h22 to 6G civic swap help
I need some advice on things I'll need for an H22A in a 98 Civic ex. Any suggestions on problems or things I.ll need prior to installation.

Have you researched that any? I thought about the h22a in my civic and decided not to as a daily driver. I went with the B18c rather. Do a search on the pros and cons and see what you come up with. If you cant find anything or decide to stick with the swap let me know

The more I think about it the less I want the heavy h22 for a daily driver. My other option is the b18c1 or c5 or b16b (CTR)!!!!! I would love the CTR motor. I mainly want to compete in some road races with the occasional street race. How much did you get your b18? Was there a significant difference in power? Weight? I and my buds will put the motor in a our shop, so no worries about labor.

You should be able to get the b18c for somewhere in the area of 2500-3500 depending on where you get it. I paid 3800 for motor and installation. The b18c5 will run you at least 5000 and and i dont know about the ctr. Anyof these would be an excellent application for you but if you plan to turbo id stay away from the itr.
