1985 300ZX A/C Problems
I have a 1985 300ZX 2+2 with 85,000 original miles. The only problem I am having is that the a/c seems to shut off and blow out hot air when I get on the gas, otherwise at idle or at normal hwy speed it blows out cold air just fine.
Help!!!! |

Well, your cooling element is 17 years old and weak (unless replaced), OR your alternator isn't powerful enough to cool the air that is taken in AND produce the power needed when accellerating...either cooling element, or alternator.... im betting on the cooling element, also get Anti-freeze replaced every few thousand miles...

Go to www.z31.com, the best Z31 site on the net, bar none Oh well, this forum sucks, wont let me post the img, so go to z31.com and ask.
