1985 300zx problem

Car starts up and shuts off. Takes a while to get it running. Runs good until you start accelerating than starts cutting out and running rough. Also at 2,000 to 3,000 RPM the speedometer maxes out. Give me some advice on what to look for. We have already put 2 different mass air flow sensors on it without anything being corrected. Have checked for vacumn leaks. Very hard to get it running first thing --after it warms up it idles good-- just runs rough under load or setting still popping the throttle. All plugs and plug wires are good. Good compression. Wondering if it is an electrical problem or sensor and where to look.
