what would be a good engine for my 94 acura integra?
i just bought a 94 acura integra. this is the first time i have ever considered adding things to increase performance on any of my vehicles. The first thing i want to put in is a new engine but i have no idea what type i should look for or where to go. can anyone help me? oh and im not on a budget i got about 12G to put into this car.

You need to give more details. Is this gonna be a daily driver? What kind Integra is it? LS, RS, GSR??? Turbo, NA??? Be more specific then we can start from there.....Oh and welcome to AF!!!

welcome to AF, sounds like ur a lucky guy (12k to spend). sorta do need to kno if u want to drive it on the road tho as a daily. really, with that wallet, u could build urself a very fast car.

i'm ammused how they just signed up and the name acura_integra wasn't taken..
in any event.. i'd get a nice b18c5 and keep it stock and enjoy it for what it's worth.. or pimp it and enjoy your 12k bankroll..

sorry about the lack of information. it is a 94 integra GSR im going to be street racing this integra on 1/4 mile. so no i wont be driving it around i got my 64 impala for that.

oooo...nice then. IMO, get urself a CRV-bottom end, put ur b18c1 head on it, an some low compression pistons, new rods, cams, cam gears, i/h/e, turbo it...etc...

Yes the cr/vtec is mean as hell in integras. I have heard of mid 12 sec et's in one with light mods. Get that and turbo the $hit out of it and you will be hella fast! But prepare for some serious cash being dropped on it
 .
