what would you pay for brand new bseries engine, tranny combo?

what do you guys think that one should price brand new never been installed in a vehicle engine, tranny, harness combo?

B16A2, B18B, B18C?

I am working on purchasing a semi trailor full of brand new honda crate engines and need some ideas on what they are worth and what people are willing to pay for them. Thank you in advanced for any help with this matter.

Re: what would you pay for brand new bseries engine, tranny combo?

there will be no warranty. i will actually see the engines by the end of the week and make an offer. i don't think that any of them include the ecu but they are complete ready to run engines and trannys. I am not sure just what all there is, so i will know more about them when i see them.

Delerious, the Ebay prices you talked about, is that brand new? with the tranny? and how does that convert to usd?

Re: what would you pay for brand new bseries engine, tranny combo?

no, they're not brand new, they all have anywhere from 20k-35k miles, and they're all complete swaps including lsd 5 spd hydro tranny, ecu, alternator, dist., wiring harness... all that good stuff, most of em don't come with new axels tho, i've only seen one with mounts.... as for the b18c jdm type r there's one on there with the complete swap for around 5500 shipped... and converting that to usd... i'd say around 3-3.5k.. which is a pretty good deal, at least it seems that way to me. i'm not sure how much more a brand new engine costs tho, i've never heard of honda doing that... then again, i haven't been paying attention until this year-ish

Re: what would you pay for brand new bseries engine, tranny combo?

Well, i am not sure just what the last 3 posts are about if if they were directed at me please restate or elaborate so i can understand and give you an educated response.

my schedule has not permitted me to go and see the engines as of yet. I am now rescheduled to go tomorrow night and see them. I will keep you posted.
