1998 Grand Caravan Se AWD

I have one of these in my sights. I looked at it, drove it, played with it. It seems great. I wanna buy it, but need some questions answered. I'm not a Dodge person. Know nothing about them, therefore, know not what to look for.
Here are the specs:

1998 Grand Caravan SE
All Wheel Drive
135,000 Miles
3.8 V6

4 bucket seats. Rear Heat/Air

Dual sliding doors.

Anything I need to know about it? The engine was steam cleaned, so I can't tell if there's anything wrong. But I drove it for about 20 - 25 miles today and all seemed well. Are there common problems with these vehicles or anything that I should be concerned about considering it has 135k on it?

I bought a 97 caravan AWD last Sept with 94,000 on it. I have some kind of clunk in the front end I think it is a bushing going in it. But other wise its been a nice vehicle. I don't if you get into any snow at all but it really will go right through it. It is fun to drive in it. If you dont get in the snow I don't know if I would want the added expense of the extra drive train if something should break in it. I have 106,000 miles on it and it still runs great. Plenty of power. Amin

AWD costs a lot more to repair tranny wise, or bottom of the engine (rear main). Have one on the lift now and having a heck of a time. Manuals don't include AWD info or differences.

Tranny problems and AWD leaks (ie overrunning clutch/rear diff assembly, PTU (Power Transfer Unit), and rear axle seals).
Otherwise most are relatively minor problems until the timing cover gaskets leak.........lol.

The rear discs are a bit of a nuisance, expensive to buy rotors and parking brake shoes and the parking brake lever needs attention to keep it from seizing. Rear bearings$$$$!!!! AWD doesn't do much unless u put some wheight over the rear axle- otherwise that axle is about as useful as a RWD Astro in the snow.
