I was wondering if when you put a H22A in an 96 Accord do you have to custom fabricate an Exhaust and is there a way you can roll back the odometer to the new engine's approx miles on it or start from zero????
Im in need of serious help on this one!!!

you can rollback the odometer, but you wouldnt be able to sell it afterwards legally. you might be able to get paperwork on the motor stating the mileage, and you can show how many miles is on the car and how many with the new engine. you cant reset the odometer because that not only tells the miles put on the engine, but its a sign of natural wear and tear on the entire car, like the suspension. for instance, if you reset the odometer and put a brand new engine in it, that still doesnt make it a new car. tranny, suspension, bushings, etc will still have alot of wearon them.
the only modification you have to make with the exhaust is getting the manifold's downpipe connected to the mid section. although i would get a wider custom mandrel anyways, since the h22 is a more powerful motor.

i have no idea how to roll it back. you probably have to take the dash off and take apart the cluster, but ice never tried
i like the model i have best, but it is hard to find one with low mileage, probably impossible. mine has 110 when i got it. but i plan on keeping this car for a long time. instead of buying a new car, im just going to get a new motor.
