1/24th 99-00 Civic Si Plastic model!!!!!
I know a guy that works at "Scale works". They work with model companies and help them design and improve new kits. The guy showed me a Proto type Revell 99-00 Civic SiR II Plastic civic H/B model that was in pretty much the same format as the Type R integra we all love SOO much. Anyway the kit is still in production apparently but he told me that the Si Coupe was in the works also, does anybody else know ANYTHING on this at all or is the diecast version the closest we are going to get for that one??? I have like 20 people that want me to build a 96-00 style civic 2dr and this is the kit I am so desperatly waiting on.
Doe sanyone know anything on this subject that I do not? please help

HOLY CRAP!!! how have I, nor anybody I know known about this?? you are my hero!!! does this mean wal-mart has them too? or is there some black market where you can only get these on E-bay??this is the plastic kit right?? I just may have to bid on this one:frog:

They are out, but I'm not sure how much production is out. I don't live near any walmarts or anything to confirm that, but I know atleast one of those ebay sellers has over 1000+ feedback and has a website, so they must be legit. I brought this up a day or 2 ago, and someone had said that in some areas they release them early if I remember correctly.

Simma down now.
The Si coupe kit hits the shelves "officially" on Feb. 12th. Anyone selling one now isn't supposed to w/Revell's weird system of telling retailers to hold them till a certain date so everyone has them at the same time. The hatch is due about a month afterward the coupe. They announced these kits a year ago. Of course Wally World will get them eventually, if they're like the ITR, they'll vanish quickly. Nice models, pretty much the same kind of detail as the Revell ITR. I saw the test shots in October, they had just finalized the tooling then.

This kit is actually 1/25, not 1/24 scale.
