speed is what its all about huh? wthaf do you want to turbocharge a accord! That thing purs like a cat when I rev the engine w/ stock exaust. First of all there is no such thing as a ENTIRE turbo for accord, or for that engine atleast. If you going to be stupid and have it custom for THAT engine, go right ahead. If anything, drop something WORTH bolting a turbo to!! comon, lets be realistic here and not just say some random thoughts you have been having in your sleep. I got a friend that was thinking about getting a turbo custom made but then he started thinking and thought why not get a bigger engine like a rsx that already has a turbo on it. It will fit in my 2k2 civic and I know it will in a big ass accord.

just fucing with you man, heh. I know your not stupid and that you would do something as stupid as bolting a turbo on stock engine of the accord. Drop a rsx engine in there atleast...

dropping an rsx motor into a brand new accord would be a terrible idea. that new coupe thats coming out has 240hp, which beats the smaller rsx motor. but the hp isnt the entire reason not to downgrade. its all about torque for the accord. with the v6, it has 212 ft-lbs, where the rsx has 142 ft-lbs in the type-s. i say stick with simple bolt ons for the accord for now, and wait to see what develops in the ways of F/I later on. it should be enough motor to hold you over, especially if you get the manual.

Don't listen to that retard. He doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. First off, who told you that the rsx has a "bigger" motor than his 2.3 ltr accord?? It may have more hp, but it's not bigger. Its smaller dumbass. 2nd the rsx does NOT come with a turbo on it from the factory. 3rd, the rsx engine does not just "drop" into his accord, OR your civic. Sure with the right amount of money you could. Now if you are really looking into the future you might want to consider an H22. I would really like to boost my accord, but lack of money is holding me back. Not sure if i will get an H22 or not though. Not sure if I really answered your question or not, but i'm sure someone else can.

Ohh i thought you were talking about the 2.3ltr 4banger. Keep the v-6 if thats what you are getting. And if thats the case, there should be a supercharger out for it soon, if there isnt already.

first of all, what's a h22 engine? I'm either gonna get just a 03' coupe ex manual, or a v6 lx. I'm not sure yet, but i just want to know what'll be good in the long run.

An H22 is what came in the ludes. F22 for the accords. H22 is dohc, f22 sohc. You should get the new v-6 with the 6sp. If you have the money.

the new accords have 2.4L. the 6th gen have 2.3L. y would u drop a K20A engine in a accord neways. its meant to power lighter cars like civics or Rsx's. it would be pointless considerin how much the accord weighs.

yea. but puttin the type-s (k20a) motor into a civic would be a better idea. and yes it has been done before check out a honda tuning magazine from like two months ago. a RSX type-s motor was put in a 7th gen civic sedan.

I know it can be done, i have seen it too. And like i said its not an easy drop like the guy was saying. Anything can be done with money. Personally i think its a waste of money.

It may be "cool" to put one in a civic. But as of right now it would be a lot better to go with the B18 than a k20. For one, it would cost a lot less, a LOT less. 2, there are a lot more parts out there for a b18. It would be pretty unique with the k20, thats for sure.
