94-up are the following:

ls/gs/rs=142 hp/120 something torque (the ls is still the fastest of the three by far tho). all three use the b18b motors, which are 1.8 liter DOHC NON-VTEC
gsr=170hp/128 torque. uses the b18c1, which is a 1.8L DOHC VTEC motor
Type R (Stats for 2000-up)=195hp/132torque. has a b18c5 1.8L DOHC VTEC motor.

the main difference in the ls/gs/rs is the interior. the gs can come with leather/sunroof/spoiler, an is the same car as the gsr except for the motor. the ls is the middle of the road one, but is by far the most popular lower model to mod (not including gsr). the rs is the low end, with the least options, but the lowest price also.

the gsr comes with leather/sunroof/spoiler, an boasts VTEC which is a quite handy tool in building a lil racer. biggest difference between the gsr an the type r, is that the type r weighs 600lbs less, an is completely set-up to race. the type r is the car u want if u want autocross, but if u want a straight line, then get an ls/gsr. those are ur best to options. correct me if im wrong on anything guys, but im pretty sure this is alost 98% accurate an the gsr/type r numbers are 100% true.
