Questions,Questions,Questions....
Heres the thing..im making around 700 bucks a month (seņor in High school) and im looking for a car. I wanted to buy an import but they are too expensive to take care of ,unless they are a honda. But i was looking at the Vr-4s. To expensive to buy and to maintain.
Anyways...my car is for sale..people have offerd me 3500 for it...and they said to wait for them to get the money(2 people and others offer me 3000)...so...my brother called them and ask if he could have a car loan for me and he will co-sign..i made it for 5000 buckeroos...so..i have a 8000 dollar budget. I decided completly now that I want a Mustang. From 1994-1998. A gt, and if it was cobra ,that would just be a huge bonus eh? And so..to end this boring,long post..i want to know what would i be better off with...the 94-95(5.0) or the 96-98 (4.6)...i cant afford huge mods YET,but i can get air flowing and leaving.I understang 4.6s have more power stock,correct me if im wrong, but please someone enlighten me... Out of which engine would I get more power of with just the minor mods(and possibly in the future, forced induction)?

no the 5.0's and 4.6's both have the same amount of hp witch is 215. and they would probaly get the same amount of hp when moded. why dont u want a 99-04?

Wouldnt 99 and up bee out of my reach moneywise...ive seen a couple for 8000 but not so good in condition.

no i found some good 99 gt's on autotrader. i even found a nice 99 gt in my area for $6,000. if u dont see any good ones now just go back like once a week and ull probaly find one in a month or 2.

i thought the 94-95 5.0 had 225hp? the 4.6 does have 215 tho. im pretty sure the 4.6 outperformes it stock... slightly. i say buy the 4.6 and get some pi heads. what you need to look for first tho is a 96-98 cobra. those are the best from that era.

the fox body style 5.0 had 225 but in 94 when they got the new style the lowered it 10 hp.

you should really try to do 99gt if you can. just check around a little bit and maybe increase your budget slightly if you have to. the heads alone on the 99s make the previouse years not cost effective in comparison.

Im really looking around..i know the 99's and up are faster and stuff...well I guess I would go for one of those or a 96-98 Cobra

when i was lookin for a mustang i went to this guys house that had a 99 or 2000 gt that we were lookin at and he had a 95 cobra for sale that was SOOOO nice it was black it had like 25k miles the leather was perfect. the whole car was like brand new and even had a few mods on it and he was only askin $10,000 for it.
