engine in new SS's
what r the newer ss camaros running under the hood. And whats the average 1/4 mile times for them. I just ran one from a stop the other night and I had him by like 4 cars to about 80. By a hundred he had gained it all back and passed me. Pretty fast cars up top i guess.

LS1's are all top end, by the time you hit third gear, it pulls hard. All 98-02 SS's have LS1's under the hood, while 96-97 SS's have LT1's, even a few have LT4's. I've had my SS to the track five times, with a best time of 13.57 s @ 105.55 with a 60' of 2.276 s.
