I have a '91 crx with a 1.5L, and I'm putting in a B16 V-Tech. Do I need new motor mounts, and do I have to weld off the old ones?

Re: New engine, new motor mounts?
umm youre putting in a b16 vtec...
of course you need new motor mounts..have you seen the difference in size of motors?? the only mount you need to remove is the front mount bracket on the crossmember. other than that buy a bseries mount kit and its a walk in the park from there lol SEARCH!!

Re: New engine, new motor mounts?
So just remove that one, the other stock mounts won't get in the way? can I reuse those mounts?

Re: New engine, new motor mounts?
Check the FAQ. Kris has a nice write up on what is involved. That is what the FAQ is for.
Here is his post
