What Headunit do you have?
I decided to go with Panisonic because the night color matches my gauges.

Factory head units in both cars. People STILL break into cars and steal car stereos in Hartford
Factory units are just not typically targets.

1. The factory head unit with cassette player. I still have a couple tapes here and there that I play occasionally, and it has a radio in it which I listen to a lot.
2. The factory optional CD player. Works in conjunction with the factory head unit, plugs right into it. Not a stand alone player, needs the head unit to play. Volume, bass, treble, all that stuff is still controlled with the head unit. This didn't come with my car, but I bought it off my friend who had it in his NX until he got an aftermarket stereo. Not working yet, plugs into the head unit fine, but I still need to get the power cable for it from the Nissan dealer, and just haven't got around to it yet. I prefer factory head units...not really a theft target, they fit in perfectly, look like they were meant to be there (maybe because they were ), and usually have filters it them fine tuned to cancel out any electrical "noise" from your particular car. Speakers though, I'm more than happy to change (although I haven't yet done it in my car, maybe after I get the CD player hooked up I'll go for some high quality good sounding Infinity or Polk stuff, none of the stuff made to win bass competitions )
