Lightning srtikes twice

What would you do if you won enough money in the powerball to retire?

http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/art...draw31-ON.html

First thing I would do is quit my thankless job.
Next, I would take care of my imediate family members debt.
After that I would buy a huge climate controlled facility and buy every car I have ever dreamed of owning....( to many cars to list) and drive them daily.

Just a few of my priorities

I'd buy myself a new pair of pants...

a power-wheels monster truck... never had one as a kid ... i'd swap out the 12v motor for a 5hp Briggs&Straton motor though. Only kid on the block who's power-wheels does wheel stands!

and maybe some Reese's Piecesİ

that and a shitload of things i've always wanted...

I would manage/own the following: An Infiniti dealership, and a gym that is actually FUN to work out at.
The Infiniti dealership would be great, because I am very passionate about Infiniti's lineup, and have already sold quite a few people on their cars. One of the things that would come FREE with the purchase of a new Infiniti would be one of those advanced-driving courses they teach in Vegas that teaches you to control RWD on a skidpad, use the handbrake, etc. This hopefully would encourage more people to know the limits of their car and drive more safely.
About the gym: I have put a lot of thought into this, and the biggest thing about my gym would be movie nights, every night. In the room with the treadmills, exercise bikes, cross-country machines and stair climbers would be several big-screen TVs and a surround-sound system. I would play a lot of scary movies, that way the adrenaline gets flowing and it makes you want to run faster. Also people would be encouraged to walk/run/pedal/etc. for a full 1.5-2 hrs.
Also in the gym would be a salad bar with healthy salad dressing and lots of carrot sticks. (I would go to the gym every day if there was free food there. )
Also would be a climbing wall, raquetball courts, etc.
There would be bike-riding machines like the ones at ESPN zone where not only are you riding a stationary bike, but there is a screen and sound effects and triggers so you can race, do tricks, and shoot the other simulated bikers.
Then there would be a simulated boxing machine like the one at ESPN zone, where you hold weighted gloves and box a simulated opponent and the machine uses lasers to tell your positioning and whether you dodge the punches or not.
This would, of course, be in addition to the standard free weights and stuff. But my gym would be for people who like video games and fun, but need to get back in shape. I never go to the gym I have a membership at, because sitting there lifting weights is BORING. Oh, also, my gym would have fun aerobics classes, like the sexy-dancing one I saw a news story about, and it would have yoga.

Sitting around on my lazy arse never appealed to me. If I won a whole bunch of money, my dream is to invest it, make it all back, and pass it on to other people who have good ideas but no money to start their own businesses.

no matter what, but you cant work out and eat ANY food, even if its a salar or a carrot. You can eat it after gym, or 2 hours before gym, which could be done at home i guess.

first invest it so I am making more from it. Then I'd move back to NZ, buy a big house, models galore- with my own modelling workspace, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 575 Maranello, Koenig 550 Maranello, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Merc SL55 AMG, Porsche 911 Turbo (Every generation) Alfa Romeo 156 GTA, HSV GTS300, BMW M5, Lamborghini Murcielago, Honda NSX, Ferrari Dino 246GT and Nissan R34 Skyline GTR V Spec II (The actual list is a lot longer than this ) from there I'd start my own tuning house specialising in European cars and another branch for Japanese cars- then a gym (I'm a fitness buff), top of the line electronic Gadgetry and appliances to top it off I'd buy a nice boat

Reallistically with the right investments and putting it towards business- I could turn it into as much as $500 million and then after about 5 years $1 billion

I can't beleive how badly some people failed statistics. The chances are reduced so drastically after the store has sold not one, but TWO winning tickets the chances are less than 1 tenth of a percent. Some people are dumb. :smoker:

I second that, all three items. I'd opt for the Big Box of Reese's Pieces.

Oh ya, I'd get a nifty snow shovel too.
