how long is too long for you? I've left plastic in CSC for like 2 days with no damage.

Well, it makes sense to leave it in there for as long as it takes to strip the paint right? It usually takes two or three days to strip ALL of the paint off down to the plastic...

NO!!
I have left a body in CSC for weeks without a problem......CSC does not harm the plastic at all so there is nothing to worry about there. Just note, CSC won't do anything to lacquer paints.... Welcome to AF BTW

CSC does strip Lacquer paints. I've done it
The only problem with lacquer paints is when it etches itself into the plastic and becomes one with the plastic... then it won't come off.. you can prevent this by not spraying so thick. I've stripped lacquer off of plastic and metal plated parts with no problems using CSC |
