Help needed quickly!!!

Cars broke, just replaced alt yesterday at work and car won't work properly. Monday, cruing down the road at 35, the engine just shuts off, no warning, no lights, nothing. Kill battery trying to restart it, no codes. Tow it to work and do an alt test, alt puts out 3 amps, time for new alt. WED. put alt in and drive home. At 70 the engine justs quits again, no lights until i stop then batt and oil light come on. I'm leaning toward igniton switch any other inputs. I can't get in touch with the Honda Service Center so i can't get their advice. Please, help needed!

Main relay maybe? Does not sound like the exact problems I was having but my relay was bad and it was causing my car not to run.

The car starts no problem. It is the running part that is kicking my ass.

Well, the alternator itself is obviously NOT the problem... Don't think it'd be your ignition switch, it's not really wired to your alt.

I would check the main relay to be on the safe side... It could also be that the wiring for the Alt isn't big enough to handle the current (if your running a high-amp alt), so you may want to throw some 2 guage in there if you are running a high-amp unit.

No high amp alt, still a 60 amp. On the plus side, we removed my igniton coil and from what one of the others techs said was that the secondary coil grounded itself out to the dist. There is a little burnt mark under the ign. coil. So i replaced that but when i got home, my car just quit on me again. This is starting to piss me off.

Im not sure if this helps but I had the ing. switch go out it turned over and fired put as soon as I let go of the key fron the start position it died. Did basicly the same as yours going down the road and boom nothin. So i replaced the switch and no problems since...
