Get a loan for $10,000.
Sell all the fenders for a total of $3,000.
Sell the hood for $760.
Sell the bumpers for $1,200.
Sell the windshield for $330, install lexan.
Sell off dash panel for $450.
Sell of misc interior pieces for $700.
Sell off seats for $650.

For all items you sold (except the windshield), make sure you get a "core trade" - like a fender that can be repaired & painted.

In the end you'll have a DMC that you can customize lightly, paint and enjoy!!! All for $2910 & a little elbow grease and many hours on eBay

I've been to that place. It's right next to a Honda parts yard where I picked something up once.

I was walking back to my car across the street, and saw a DMC parked on the street. I thought to myself, 'Wow, you don't see those everyday. Those are cool cars.' Then I looked hard enough to see the one parked behind it. And the one behind that! And another! And three more on the other side of the street.
