Talking The stupidest thing you have ever done?!

Man this thread should be good. A nice collection of stupid things that our great members had done.
Mine was to play pool. And know whats so stupid about it? I had a corner shot, the corner hole was made out of steal. So i am about to take my shot right to the opposite hole, on the other corner. So i pull the still back and slam the ball. When i did it, i hit my pointing finger into that metal cover thingy. And i cut right thru to the bone. My parents where not able to come for me for about 10 minutes to get me to the hospital. SO i lost plenty of blood. It was a serious injury. So right now i have a nice scar

Pretend to break my wrist to get out of a Science test in Year 8. Pretended that I fell on it really hard. Nurse at the school bandaged it, called Mum, got XRays. Long story short puts me in a wrist cast for 6 weeks when I was fine.

Another story involving NYE, a large bottle of clear liquor and mooning 4 lanes of traffic springs to mind, but that's for another time.

I was maybe 13 and we were having this party type thing out at a friend's house way out in the country. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and it was at night. My brother and his friend which are both 2 years older than me were running around outside, I think a bunch of us were playing hide and seek. I was trying to follow them around, not doing so well though. Running as fast as I could to get across this field where they were at I caught this barb wire fence and it ripped my legs to pieces. I was tangled up in it, every move I took it cut me even more. I was in shock and I couldn't yell for help, so after about 15 minutes of removing myself from it I walked back up to the house with a blood trail the whole way there. Since it was so cold out I couldn't feel my legs, thank god. Once in the house I had a bunch of adults help me, it was messy. I still have a few long scars from it.

Well.

Was a few months before moving to New Zealand. I was down, figured, I'm leaving town, so why the hell not. Burn lighter upside down, apply to hand. Now I have a neat little shield shaped scar. Very clever.

Another one was playing tag (at age 17 heheheheh) with my gf at some friends. Ran into a friend, sprained my finger. Knuckle is still swollen a bit over a year later....

*Is stupid*

Ok, first let me preface that I bite my nails, and as such they're not useful for much of anything. Now, the story...

I was at a friend's house, about 3-4 years ago, stringing xmas lights. I had untangled a string that was 30 ft long or some ridiculous length. Out of the 4 strands, 1 wouldn't light, so looking down the string, (while plugged in, of course) I went lightbulb to lightbulb, testing each one. Finally I got to the bulb that was obviously the problem. The glass on it was fully broken off, so the two wires in the bulb were just sitting there, exposed. I tried to pull it out with my fingers, but it was stuck pretty good and I couldn't get it out with my lack of nails.

So I used my teeth.

Yes, the lights were still plugged in. Yes 3/4 of the lights were lit so it was blatantly obvious that they were plugged in. Yes, I recieved quite a shock to the tongue/teeth. I immediately dropped the strand and pretended nothing had happened. It was a good year before I told anyone.

i have a few...

i was at my friends house last summer for a party (at least 30 people there), and we were swimming in his pool. we (the people in the pool) decided to have a backflip competition, but it would have to be off the edge of the pool since his diving board had just been broken and removed a week prior. so the 2 shorter guys go, all is well. i step up to the edge and set myself up to go. as soon as i spring into the air, i hear about 30 voices screaming "NO!!". as i went upside down and was entering the part of the backflip where you become right side up again, i hear a sickening crack and hit the water. there's a huge pain in my head and i'm disoriented as i fumble to come up out of the water. as soon as i come up, everyone is yelling at me to get out of the pool. not knowing what had happened, i climb out and casually walk over to my friend and ask "so, what do you want to do now?", to which he replies "dude, your head is bleeding". i touch my forehead with my 4 fingers and sure enough they are covered with blood. it turns that since i'm 6'5 and a good foot taller then the other guys that were in this competition, i had hit my head right on the corner of the pool on my way around (made of cement i might add). i was in the hospital until 2:30am and received 10 stiches and 2 staples. but hey, if i ever go bald, now i have an awesome scar to show off!

the second one: i was riding my bike and looked down to check if my untied shoelaces were caught in the gear, looked up and WHAM! slammed right into a parked Mercury Sable. dented the car, wrecked my bike and my self esteem, and got a few nasty bruises too.

Thumbs up

Took 13 Tequila shots on an empty stomach and woke up the next day on the hood of a '78 Camaro with my hand stuck in the hood scoop:alien: Also my friend and I had a farting contest in my car about an hour before he fixed me up with a hot chick I'd been lusting after She got in the car and her face cracked because of the smell I was trying to be a gentleman and went to open the car door for her but when I got out, I forgot to put the car into "park" so the car started rolling and almost hit a Corvette parked in front of me. For some strange reason, I never saw her again!

Shit...where do I start....
Went off-roading in a Jeep, got stuck, got out, still went on with it. Fryed the ignition system- 500$ worth of labor, not to mention the week a did not have a car.
Dumping over 3 grand into that Jeep
Thinking this Celica would ever get a 3s-gte engine swap with my budget and my local idiot mechanics.
Went off-roading in a 87 Toyota Celica St....cased a curb on my way out......bent my transaxel-600$ + buying a junk yard transmission with 160,000 miles on it then going out to eat Civic ricers ends up with no transmission.
Did a one city block brake stand in my Jeep....(on a wet road) Right in front of a cop. (no ticket....he liked it, but still very stupid)
Many females.
Leaving my car unlocked getting gas in Miami.
