I used to like country, then I discovered different kinds of music and so how simplistic country was, now I dont really listen to it anymore. oh well. doesnt bother me.

Now, I don't listen to alot of country, but despite it's simplistic nature, it's still good music... My main problem with it is that it all sounds the same. When I'm listening to a country song, I can totally tell what the changes are going to be, and the chord progressions are all extrememly similar... there are exceptions to this rule though. But that's why it's only good in small doses, because after awhile, it's just all the same really long song. I like old country alot better than new country though... Like Johnny Cash, and Asleep at the Wheel, and Willie Nelson, etc.
