Didn't you post this on a site already? Maybe another thread? I'm sure I've replied to it already. I think we've determined it's a clogged CAT.

im kinda having the same problem with my turbo.....
its a greddy td04h and it spools up fine, but im only gettin 3 lbs.'s of boost. i tightened the arm on the internal wastegate, and even disabled the wastegate. and all i can get is 3 psi....would a clogged cat cause this problem?

Re: turbo problems

First off, don't screw with the actuator arm. You're just asking for trouble. Either use a MBC or EBC (recommended). Yes, your catalytic converter could be clogged up to a point only allowing so much air to pass through.

How to determine a clogged cat: Disconnect the cat-back section from the downpipe and see if your boost picks back up. If it does, you've easily discovered that your exhaust system is hindering the gas from exiting quicky.

Re: turbo problems

it could be an old thread running through your engine and burning upon exit.
