Attended a would be local street race last night

Would have posted this earlier, but couldnt get onto AF for some reason soo....

Anyways, it was just another boring friday night here in Napa, CA, so I cruised by the local hangout spot expecting a bunch of muddy pickup truck and domestics, cause this has been the case for the last couple of months ever since summer ended. Right as I am entering the parking lot, I spot about 6 imports all headed out of town in a line and decide to follow em, so we get about 3 miles out of town, and they turn into this industrial area, and I follow, everyone then pulls over, and I see a lot more cars chilling in a parking lot, and lights at the end of the road I am on. So I park and cut the lights and just chill. Anyways, 2 cars go down to the bottom of the road, when I spot a cop chilling a couple parking lots up from our current location, so I get out of my car and tell the guy that there is a cop over there, and another guy goes to the end of the road to tell the would be racers about our little situation. Anyways, the 2 cars come up and turn down a side street, heading further out of town, me in the meanwhile saying fuck this. I get back in my car and flip a bitch, and head back out toward the freeway so I can head home, about 1 mile down the freeway, I come up on an old ford taurus, and a early 90's mustang, we are rolling and when the light turns green they both drop it. My instincts told me to just chill, so I just mob doing 55 mp/h in the slow lane which is the speed limit, anyways, we get up to another light and the mustang is in the right lane and the taurus in the left, so I get in the left turn lane to go home, when the mustang cuts 3 lanes to also get in the turn lane so I slow down to let him in. Anyways, the light turns, and once completing my turn I whip out into the left lane to pass him and head home since the right lane ended soon anyways, well right behind me there were two cops, and they pull the mustang right over into a gas station, while the other one whips a bitch to go look for the taurus after realizing they had been racing.

Well thats my story, guess my instincts saved me from a ticket ... sucks that there was a cop out there anyways, cause the race looked like it was gonna be pretty good, 94 4 door accord vs a 95 Mits eclipse GS, both modded with bolt on's.

Yeah, yeah, I know street racing is wrong, illegal, etc. but lets note that I myself wasnt actually racing, just spectating, and I wasnt even driving around looking for a race, just happend to spot em all headed out and figured they might race, which is what would have happened had there not been a cop out there

i know the caps has been a big issue...so i'll explain it again...i'm a cad designer...at work we have to use caps b/c it's more ledigable athan writing in lower case...in the field or at a job sit...use caps...at work..use caps...and when i went to school there was a special part of the ciriculum (can't spell that) that taught us how to write capital letters...was the same like they teach you to write in kindergarden...so that's the story on why i use caps...use it so much that i sign my name in caps and i write in caps... ...but i don't yell in the forum...so if you see me writing with caps, i'm at work

i work for a german company designing automatic lubrication systems for construction equipment (ie...excavators, loaders, ), trucks, trailers, etc..... bored with the job....spend 90% of my time surfing the web....not enough work for me to do....my previous job i was a cadd designer (plumbing, elec, and mechanical)...designed the plumbing, heating and cooling ducts and what not for new buildings or renovated buildings...was pretty cool though...i did the things on the compouter the gave it to someone that have them build it
