LanEvo VIII

Fujimi Lancer Evolution VIII, Jan 29, 2200 yen.
The manufacturer claim it to be all new tool, but I doubt it. I call it all new body tool, with existing evo interior tub and chassis.
We'll wait and see.

Evo VIII, that's good news.

Fujimi have probably used the same interior hub as the Evo VII, used the same body, but modified the front and rear bumpers/spoilers.

We'll wait and see!

its in the latest issue of Sport Compact Car... in the article they say that they havent been able to get their hands on a real one but they have lots of exterior pictures and talk about the differences/similarities.

I think it looks great! I wasn't so keen on the 6 and 7 styling, this certainly brings back a more agressive look.

I still miss the foglights of the old 4's and 5'. Also the wheels are direct copies of the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS Wheels from 2000 and 2001 except that they are 1" larger.

Yes but the style is a direct copy-off of the 00/01 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS rims. Here's my friends 01 RS with the stock wheels. Only difference is that they are 16" instead of the mitsu's 17", that and maybe some miniscule size differences in the spokes, other than that, a direct style copy.

I still prefer the EVo 6 and 4. It look more fierce than EVO 8

Evo5 Baby!!!!

THose fog ligths and OZ wheels look so sexy.....
I kinda like the 3 too...conservative yet stylish

After they switched to Lancer Cedia chassis, they styling went downhill.
EVO7=Accord
Evo8=Pontiac Sunfire

agree...

I thought 7 is the worst. Now... I seen something much more worst: EVO 8.

I don't really like it. The headlights are HUGE. I like the older EVOs much better. I'll take a Subaru over that any day.

And the tub from Evo VII actually came from Evo III......

Anyway, as hirofkd suggests, we'd expect a retooled body based on the Evo VII, cos Evo VIII has a different bonnet......
Or else would Fujimi come up with a new Evo VIII bonnet that we "cut and paste" to the original Evo VII body?
