S13 sr20det in s14 chassis
I've found quite a few S13 sr20det's for sale in my search for an S14 engine. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to swap in the S13 engine into the S14 chassis. If so, what conversions are needed. I've read that the exhaust system is different but will the engine require special mounts and will the transmission match up?

from everything i heard the s-13 redtop sr20det motor will fit right in place of the ka24de motor found in the s-14 chassie, no major mods should be made, n yes the tranny will fit up its the same 5 speed,

no new engine mounts are needed and the tranny fits in fine. it's not much more complicated then putting one in an S13 chassis.

I read somewhere that for the s13 chassis the s14 engine actually goes in easier than the s13
anyone find this to be true?
