Painting + clear coat

After i spray couple coats of paint, should i spray clear coat right after? or wait untill it dries?

Im a newbie... Are primers and clearcoats easy to find at a hobby store??? What should I look for when buying them???

wait at leats 7 days so as to avoid bubbles in the paint

Which is the reason why you cover the model while it is drying, once the paint is completely dry you can wash any possible dust off like you would wash the model before you start painting.

Usually you can find them in the same section as all the paints, often on the same rack as the paints.

I'd say it depends on the paint you'll be using.

You look for rimer and clear laquer! If the hobby store carries Tamiya spraycans, they should be able to have primer and clear as well. I suggest you use Tamiya paints when you start modelling as they are reasonably fool-prof (look at P-man's models! :right: ).

so i should wash my model with primer before paint right? and dry it and paint it, couple coats. then wash it again. thanks

Once you've waited 7 days for the paint to dry, do you have to give it a light sand before the clear coat or can you just wash it and then spray the clear on.

Depends on how good the paint turned out. That is, if you're not using metallic colours. If you are - leae tha paint alon.e It's in the FAQ.
