Come on! Somebody Buy My '96 Max 5-sp, Got A 540i Now WAY BETTER!!!

Sell your Maxima and get a BMW 540i. I love mine, tons of gadgets 4 cam V8, silky smooth and fast as hell. Way more creature comforts. I've been a Nissan guy for a long time, now that has changed.

Anyway, gotta sell my '96 Max (cheap!), check it out:

1996 Black Beauty Maxima.

5-Speed, K&N type filter, spoiler, white gages, MP3/CD/AM/FM Stereo, 114K mi, New (4) KYB adjustable struts, 15" alloy with all season radials, 17" summer wheels with Kumo tires as seen in picture. Awsome condition, FAST and CLEAN. Blue Book $6450, will sell $6000 (includes 2 sets of wheels).

u might think that car is better, but ive got 20 bucks that says u would have to get rid of that mercedes before you would a max, or even a nissan for that matter

Congrats, on the new car, the BMW 540 is a better quality car than the Max, however though, I will still burn you in a race, hahaha, seriously though, congrats and good luck with the car, if I was in the market for a second car, I'd take that Max off your hands in a sec.

Just curious, what year did you get and how much did you pay?

I am quite sure that your BMW is a nicer car, but on a price basis, how does it compare?

I mean I would have to say that a Ferrari is better then a Max, but for the price, I prefer the max.

It's a 1997 (latest body style) 540i automatic (yea, I know but rush hour sux w/ a m/t)

95K miles, silver, leather, 17 way adjustable seats- leather, power steering wheel up down in and out!, power sunroof, 6 disc factory changer, on board computer, factory wood accented dash, multi function steering wheel, fast 14.1 qtr mile, V8 rumble, traction control, rear wheel drive, alminum suspension components, great steering feel, snappy automatic, awsome leg space...

All for $16500. includes a set of 16" blizzak alloys and a set of 17" summer wheels.

The car has 100 gizmos built in, I just hope that nothing breaks cuz it's very $$$ to fix. Drives nicer than my '96 maxima for sure but no doubt higher maintanence costs.

I buy cars cheap with high miles, and pay in repairs which I try to do myself.
