Which rim maker has better quality? I saw a set of fujimi spoons that my friend baught, they didnt even look like spoons, but alot of people here use fujimi rims, which confuses me, Is'nt aoshima better in quality???

Fujimis rimsa rule in 18" and up if theymake any bigger ne smaller and they suck. the smaller ones dont come with brake's have big fat ugly tires and poor quality. ive learned from experience. but im not sure about aoshima they only thing ive bought fromthem is there wing set.

the only reason so many more people use Fujimi rims is because most of the kits built here are Fujimi's, and Aoshima rims don't fit on fujimi cars. there are ALOT of people here that use Aoshima rims as well though (Laurent), because Aoshima rims fit Tamiya cars (i think). Aoshima DEFINITLEY makes better wheels. if you compare each companies Blitz Technospeed wheels, the Fujimi ones are tiny and the spokes are shaped all wrong. if you look at the Aoshima ones, they look like an almost exact mini copy of the real ones. Aoshima also makes excellent VIP rims. i've heard good things about Fujimi's Advan Model 5's though...

It's a toss up. For example Fujimi's AVS 5 looks better than Aoshima's. It depends on the wheel, but I will say the quality of Aoshima's wheels seem to be more consistant.

Thumbs up

I gotta go with Veyron on this one; Aoshima has a slight edge in terms of quality and appearance. Fujimi's new Work Eurolines are pretty cool and are 18" in size. Their Work Meisters are sweet as are their Model 5s. Overall, I prefer Aoshima because Fujimi will burn you pretty bad sometimes with what you get as opposed to what you thought was in the box!

Yup. Though Fujimi's quality is far better when they do actual 18" rims vs. the rest of their "undersized" lineup. They take extreme creative/artistic license on many of their smaller rims which look horrible compared to the box art. But I'm happy w/all my Fujimi 18's. Why Aoshima and Fujimi don't do more 19's is beyond me...the good ones are always sold out. Seems that's an indication of fantastic sales, and I'd think they'd want all their rims to sell that well.

Aoshima IMO are the better when you are talking about quality, but if i like a set of rims, i will buy them no matter who makes them

IMO. Aoshima or Fujimi make no differents. Fujimi and Aoshima rims fit most car, a slight modify needed, that all. Aoshima rims do fit Fujimi car and Tamiya cars. Fujimi is 1 scale smaller, but those 18inch rims is pretty big, like the OZ Nova, BBS IMO, BBS, etc... Aoshima BBS is already painted, but fujimi was not.

So...any company who come out any rims can't stop me to buy them. But only 2 rim that I dislike. Fujimi Speedline Compe-2 and Racing Hart are totally disappointing...
