Congrats on the ride, I would say if you don't have tints, tint your windows (I know it's not a mod, like an engine part or something) but I think the Max looks better when the windows are tinted.

Next get some rims, then add a y-pipe,<most gains other than turbo/SC/n20 or MEVI, add an intake (Frankencar or K&N) and also tune up your suspension by adding a FSTB (BOMZ) and an RSB.
Good luck with the ride and welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.

yeah i agree with b2k... tints look great on the max and y-pipe is a must. intake def. next (franken car, k&n, placeracing cold air intake)
suspention for those hair pin turns.

if you want A LOT of ideas, let me be the first to introduce you to www.custommaxima.com

Fellas are absolutely right. 1st of all congrats to Maxima family bro. Glad to hear that more people are choosing a maxima. My 1st thing that I did to my max was getting frankencar midpipe (ram-intake) I see little gains at low-end torque but it still is a gain. But if you really want to see some gains, get a CAI. I already ordered Injen custom made CAI(Cold Air Intake) and for this you dont need to cut the fender well. 2nd, you u like driving fast on sharp turns get ur suspention tunned and definetly get front strut bar and rear sway bar. I got front strut bar and it helps alot in cornering. Tints you say? DEFINETLY!!! Something for styling? Clip-on body kit would look good. and definetly rims. Here is a best site where you can get rims with tires for very good price... ANY SIZE!!! http://www.wheelmax.com Mod away bro.

Your first mod should definitely be a y-pipe.

Guys, for the newbie (like me) and the not so nubies you hav eto check out this link.
http://www.importintelligence.com/FM...stID=USA&-Edit

This site offers a mod to the gauges. Though this is not a performance mod which max owner on this forum does not want his ride to be the hottes max on the block where there are already 20 of them. I just installed white face gauges with crome gauge rings and an intelliglow needle kit. You have to try this to believe how hot this looks at night. Warning.......i did it the easy but expensive way. I bought white face cluster from a SE max and sent it to them to install for me. (installation fee of $27.00) But if you are the tech savy individual then you might want to try taking your needles off the gagues and installing the glow kit. What ever you do....it is diffinatly worth trying.
