how to put breaking light in boot reflector

I have seem a few civics aound with a brake light in the reflective strip on the boot, I was wonderin' if anyone else had done the same and if they have how they done it, wiring etc

if you are talkin about the center reflecter, i put 2 LED strips ( the third brake light off of a suburban) it came out alrite if you can cut the reflector with out cuttin in to deep it will look good. I did this on my old hatch i just tapped into the third brake light wire and ran the wire through the framing of the hatch

yeah sorry i did mean trunk, we call it a boot in the UK
