break light and break light chime

Whenever I put the 1995 buick lesabre in gear and accelerate the break light and the chime go off. It will continue until I tap the break. Lately it has stayed on constantly. How do I fix this?

You can start by checking the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If it is low, the chime will sound and the light will come on. Now, if it is low, there is a reason. It could be a leak somewhere, or it could be your pads are worn down enough that the calipers are holding all the brake fluid. Do not just add fluid, without checking the cause of the low level condition.
