a buddy of mine has a 94 del sol VTEC and he wants to sell it so he can get a 5th gen hatch with a b18c5 swap. anyways, heres the specs

i looked on KBB.com and it says the car stock is only worth something like 4700, but around here, del sol VTEC is a rare car. he has put some work into it and replaced various maintenence items. He is asking 6500 but i think i can talk him down to 6,000 is it worth it do you think?

I dont think i can find another del sol VTEC in my area to even compare prices to

it has a lot of miles on it, and looking at the mods, those werent very easy miles for it. if kbb says its worth 4500, i say dont buy it for more than 5500, if you really want it. if you trust how well it has been maintained, you might be able to justify spending 6000 for a car with that many miles, but thats still quite a bit.

don't buy a friens car. its not worth that much, an i think if u buy it from him ur going to realize the guy sold u a bad car. b16 is rite, those miles were tough on the motor. no buy=good.
