RS 97 highway Neon

Not a race

I was merging onto a highway this morning. It was 5:20am. There was a guy tailing me on the ramp. There were cars all around but moving good. He got onto the slow lane before me and drilled it passed me into the fast lane. I didn't move or anything. When he passed me it was a 2.0L Neon with all the light kits you can get with two huge cans in the back with what looked like 2 1/4 2 1/2 exhaust.

I said to myself lets see what these thing will do and I dropped it into 4th and got behind him. He had traffic so I just tailed him. The car infront of him moved to the slow lane and he started to pull on me. I floor it and when I hit around 4000 RPM I pull on him alot, I had to let off the gas because there was traffic. He was really hitting hard too, I could hear the thing. It was fun. I let off on the gas because the guy wouldn't let up and it was busy out.

Regards,
Spotovi

Being a Mopar fan, it bothers me to see people ricing them up. Thank the lord for people like DOHcNEON for actually working the engine over. Nice job, I love it when ricers are put in their place, they deserve it. Plus it irritates me when they have to be assholes just because they think they are fast and have to hurry to get everywhere.

Well, I am driving a 1994 Eagle Vision TSi, you can see it by clicking the link in my sig. It is nice for a daily driver. I am also working on getting a 1990 LeBaron GTC project car which you can also see by clicking the other link in the sig. It looks like crap, and it needs a lot of work, but I think its worth it.

You have a lot of parts on that project car. I've seen worse. Happy parts hunting.

Yeah, I agree with ya'.

On the Vision all you got was the bigger engine and a much better suspension. It can get up and go for its size, but it is by no means fast. Faster than a stock Civic or Neon, but still, not fast. Hell I even beat an Audi A4.

Give me a Talon TSi ANYDAY though.
