2003 Jetta GLI Seats

I have a chance to buy a used 6 speed 2003 GLI for 21k with only 8300 miles as it was traded on a Suburban of all things. I love the car but I can't get comfortable with the seat distance to the clutch. They don't have power seats on this model and I wonder if its possible to have the dealer add the features to make it power without giving up my first born. Or is there a track available from someone which has more adjustments. I'm off a half inch and its driving me crazy as I love the car but don't want to be uncomfortable. I drove an 2001 GLX that had a power seat and the adjustment was fine. Also, does this sound like a good deal.

You would need a GLX ecu and wiering to get the memory function to work, and the seats themselfs are expencive.
For $21k you are probably better of getting a new GLX, then you get all the other cool stuff too
