It would look pretty dark, and the light should still shine through really well, like my bumper lenses.

oh yea, forgot about that. I did that too, stayed on pretty good for a while.

It isnt possible to tint the headlights cause of those little nipples everywhere, but I hear there is a glue you can get so the window tint stays on better.

Some pics of that for you.

And here is the shit I used for the pics in my previous post

I have tinted headlights before. The glass sealed beam style hold the tint better than a plastic headlight housing found on a civic. For the sealed beam stlye i trimmed about an 1/8" short all the around the outside & cutting hole for those things that stick out. I dont like putting tint on plastic because it can not be scraped with a razor blade without damaging the lense. A heat gun is a must when working with those tiny pieces.

1. Spray headlight & ruff sized piece
2. temporaly stick to lense & trim
3. always keep wet (including your fingers)
4. Remove the clear backing(keeping wet as you go)
5. Apply to headlight & use a credit card wrapped in a towel to remove
the bubbles. make final trimming of tint after you have removed all the water/soap solution
6. Most likey you will have bubbles or little pockets that wont stick
for those make a small slice with a razor & use heat gun to form

Removing the light or headlight assy. is easier than trying to do it on the car. You dont want to burn you paint or melt any plastics with that heat gun. Some people say a blow dryer works. Make sure you clean before tinting.

I have some left over mirror tint that im saving for my camaros headlights. Im not sure how it will look. Right now there is 5% on all 4 lights - with the low beams on at night its equal to having black outs on. With my black outs & the tints i cant see anything. The light color from the tint is changed slightly to bluish instead of the yellow/white from the clear glass

just a few thoughts:smoka:
