Tamiya 1/20 Ferrari F310B - (*Final Pics*)

I know that F1 cars is not one of the favourite topics around AF (anyone know any good F1 car modelling forum?) but it’s with great pleasure that I share with you some pictures of my just finished project, the Ferrari F310B.
Standard Tamiya model with Marlboro Hi-Tech decals and detailed seatbelts from Studio 27.
Unfortunately the engine cover doesn’t fit perfectly but in any case I’m satisfied with the overall look of this model.
Hope you like it, especially you Alex since this one was your request.

Nice, really nice, especially with the 'uncensored' decals

Very nice! That is one of the more challenging Tamiya kits, much like the Enzo is going to be I think. Did you clear coat?

Excellent job Nuno The last Barnard Ferrari, before they became red Benettons!

I'm not into F1 so much these days but still appreciate a well built GP car, especially one with a wide track and slick tyres!

Interesting location to photograph it too.

Beautiful work! The background's moss looks like tufts of grass in scale.

Great work as usual, I've been watching this kit with interest as this is one of the only Tamiya F1 kits I have not got yet. Looking forward to seeing your next F1 kit

Hi Nuno!

F E L E C I T A C I O N!

As you know, me too I've been following the progress on this one, and it came out really nice, despite the decal trouble you went through! Very nice!

Cheers,

Guido

First thanks for all your comments.
I also liked the photos. I think the background is a good contrast to the car.
As you can see the exterior light (good thing yesterday I’ve got a little of sunlight behind the clouds) shows the real colour of the car, nothing to do with the “pale” aspect of the in house photographs (same will happen with the Alpine).

Veyron:
Yes. Since I’ve got a real good and shinny final paint job I only applied one clear coat, just to protect the decals, especially the Hi-Tech ones.

Kunta:
Correct, this one is an Irvine version.
