What VTEC Controller works best?
I was gonna chip my ECU w/ a Mugen chip but have had second thoughts. I know it's a more agresive program and kicks in the VTEC allot sooner than the stock one. I have been more interrested into getting a VTEC controller, but haven't decided on which one to get? Any sugestions would help.

I recommend the APEXi VTEC- Air Fuel Controller (V-AFC) or the Feilds VTEC and Air Fuel Controller. I think those are the Most reputable.

has the vacuum flourescent display, so its easy to see at night and during the day, +/- __% fuel correction and the vtec controller....btw, when doing the VTEC adjustement i would do this:
Make a couple runs on a Dyno and look where the torque crosses the hp.....on the chart. set your vtec cross over where the torque and hp intersect.... and thats about it....i would go w/ the APEXi, the feilds can be hard to work w/......not very user freindly. |
