Looking to build a Tamiya Porsche

Any recommendations? Maybe one that has engine detail?

I already have the 911 Carrera. I only want to build Tamiya because I've had enough with fitment problems in other brands.

The 959. It's a good kit, and it has engine details.

If you can find one and have the money this 1/12 scale 935 is a joy to build and a gem when done.

get the 959 (cause it has an engine) or just these two --> 993 GT2 or the 996 GT3 both are great even though it doesn't have an engine still a good build!!!

GT3???? I went to my local hobby shop and was going to buy it, but it was $30.00 USD Damn RIP!!! So I came home with a "Metal-Plated" S2000 since that was the only one they had, BTW all the regular mold lines are present on the body!

know what you mean hono. got a plated 350z and all the mold line are there too! somewhat hard to fix it w/o wrecking the paint.

nwayz, ditto with calsonic!!! but somewhat partial to the GT2 & GT3.

I would also suggest the 959 and the 911 Turbo Flat-nose. I built one and it was a pleasure! There's pictures of it in the gallery.

935k3 - I want that kit!!! I remember seeing it in the catalouge when it was originally available in the 80s and I wanted it then... but I was to young! Is it available again? I seem to remeber Tamiya re-issuing some of their 1/12th kits a while back...
