Few questions about forum...
Hey guys I was wondering, do you think with the new FAQ or even with the current FAQ it could be made into a HTML version? I would do it if I had the time but it would most likely take me awhile to do it. I would be willing to start it if no one else is.
Also is there a way to make it so people have to have smaller sigs lol Some of them are a little bit and just slows down my 56k modem ![]() But with my 2 complaints, I must say this is the best Modeling forum I have ever been on and always look forward to coming here....even if I get busy server

Somewhere in your profile/setup you can turn off the sigs to speed up the procedure (I did it), even though it's more likely that the incredibly slow and bottled-up server is likely the culprit. New servers were supposed to be in place by the 20th, but they blew that deadline into the weeds. It's most frustrating when the system is working, but when you go to post something it's busy. Very, very frustrating.

Ver. 3 of the FAQ will be HTML based, and it will live on the /scalemodeling/ partition, so it should not go down when the forum does. I've been compiling it for a while now, despite the challenges my home PC is presenting.
![]() Sigs can be turned off in your Edit Options page, but at the same time, the moderators of AF do police sizes, to some extent. If we see one with a huge pic or animation, we'll send a PM asking that it be shrunk. For server news, make sure to check out the AF frontpage: http://www.automotiveforums.com/ |
