How exactly does the n-tercooler work?

How exactly does the n-tercooler work? Iv'e heard about the n-tercooler in magazines and stuff but not sure how its works. I hear its for systems where "nitrous isn't an option".

it works with intercoolers and sprays nitrous into the intercooler making the air cooler than with jsut a regular intercool so the air becomes more dense. More air means more power if the fuel is there. So in the since it goes where nitrous can't be used they just ment turbo or intercooled supercharger applications

I'm definitely thinking about this setup for the summer time when the intercooler ins't nearly as efficient. Should bring good times. This is offered by NX (Nitrous Express), right?
