Cool CF valves??

Has any one heard of this!? My room mate just showed me a picture of Braided, carbon fiber valves for automobiles!!

They are supposidly heat treated and like 10x stronger then steel... And of course ever so much lighter.

Anyhow, when he get done reading the mag I'll scan the article

No I haven't though it sounds interesting. I have considered going to titanium valves though .

Even if its true, it would not be worth the money. I could only see it for racing only.

They are just under $6,000 NZD here, doh! One of the main reasons is weight difference and strength difference.
