Header?

Im looking into getting a new header and was thinking about getting a DC. Do any of you have any preferences? (DC, Airmass, Chikara, Pacesetter, Powercore, etc...) DC says it gives a gain of 12-14hp but I find this a bit hard to believe. Does it all come down to the fact that I get what I pay for or is there actually a good deal out there somewhere. Thanks in advance.

You will not see a 12-14 gain on a DC.

Anyways, here is a D-Series header comparison. Myself, I just bought a new Ractive header. But will not test it until my new motor is finished.

i got a DC Sports. i am happy then again, i wasn't expecting a 12-14 HP gain. maybe to the flywheel but not to the wheels. next one i get will probably be OBX. for personal comparing. kris update us on the Ractive.

That comparison thing said that the Chikara header is a real good bang for the buck. Its only 180 so unless any of you think its not a good product, I think I might invest in one.

I have the Chikara header - I haven't used it yet so I can't really help ya with my opinion...it came with the ZC

As you can see it needs to be painted before installation...if you want something with less maint. involved, you may want stainless. If you don't care what it looks like, this is prolly OK.

I got a chikara header, and it's not too bad, good overall power increase compared to stock. Admittedly, it is not the prettiest header you've ever seen, looks almost stock, but for the price I don't think it can be beat.
