Can't decide what new car to get.

I'm saving up right now to purchase a nice german car this summer. My budget right now is about $12k. The Jetta, Passat, and BMW would be easy to get for that price, however the a4 would be a little more difficult. I'd most likely have to get it sent from 1000-2000 miles away as that's are where I've found the best deals. It's obvious that I love the 1.8t motor, and I am leaning more towards the a4 at this time. I just want to get some feedback from you guys as to what would be the best buy, considering that I'm gonna make whichever car I buy really fast (upgraded turbo, 280hp+). I know this is the wrong forum for this, but it takes weeks to get feedback from the correct forum and I'm sure there are plenty of people here who could help me.

I am a man who likes holding onto his stick. Does Volvo even have manual transmission?

Actually, get this one . . .

1998+ A4 1.8t Quattro. There's more performance parts for it as well as the all important electronics.

I was thinking 97+, most turbo upgrades are for 97+. It all depends on what I can find.

Helping To decide

Either way, the Audi 1.8t is the best way to go. Get it with quattro and a manual. Make sure you do a matched build-up. Then go out and conquer.

uhhh excuse me but some of us here have "nazi" cars. im not german but i think that might offend some people. i say go for the a4 1.8t quattro. the 1.8t is one of the best engines ever built by VW and has major potential. witha 400 dollar chip you can rule almost all the people in these forums and outhandle them. go for it!!!

my "nazi" car
