Ok, so what do you think will be likely 1/24 car models released by Tamiya this year (not what you'd like to see)? Perhas we should run a sweapstake:hehehe:

Mazda RX8


Nissan GT-R


Zonda


Hiroaki did mention that Tamiya were considering these two...

I really don't think they would release the GT-R as the car itself isn't released until 2004.

I would expect to see another R34 GT-R JGTC car hopefully the Xanavi GT-R

Some of what i'd like to see in plastic in 2003. Some old, some new...

Some of these are in Resin, or in a curbside kit.. but I want a full plastic kit...

Could perhaps Audi R8 and/or TT be released. Afterall, they are established winners!

I thought about that, then i remembered them releasing the Ferrari Mythos which never went into production. So i don't think Tamiya have a problem about producing concept cars.

Audi's and Bentley's are not going to happen at Tamiya, this has already been hashed and put to bed by Tamiya, license fees too high.

Probably because the licensing fee is cheaper on just shells

Audi and any other company that keeps their licensing fee high are really kicking their own butts, model kits do nothing but increase the popularity/recognition of their brand.

Id like to see more JGTC cars, especially the new NSX with the google eyes. Has anyone seen this car "mazda6", I would like Tamiya to make this kit (in either sedan or hatch) and the RX-8!!
